Overview

Delivering incredibly bright performance from a remarkably small package, this new T25-Q5 compact flashlight is designed for tactical applications.  The new tactical tail- cap switch provides momentary and constant-on operation.  Its Cree XR-E grade Q5 LED yields a blazing 230 lumen maximum output.  Its stochastic (orange peel) reflec- tor provides an extremely bright central hot zone with a broad smooth peripheral spill- beam area.  Sophisticated electronic switching offers three constant brightness levels, plus disorienting high-intensity strobe mode, and SOS flasher mode for emergencies. No other AA-cell flashlights match the stunning performance and outstanding features of the T25-Q5 series for such a low price, yet the quality and fit-and-finish are superb. T25-Q5 lights have a rugged Type III hard anodize finish.  The new Tactical model has enhanced body and forward switch designs  that are optimized for  handgun grip use. The T25-Q5 models require two size AA batteries (alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable). Operates for about ninety minutes at maximum brightness, and will run for over three days at the minimum setting (even at this lowest power level, the T25-Q5 Tactical will deliver plenty of light for maps or reading, and outshines many single-LED flashlights).

After carefully looking at all the options in this class I chose the Olight T25. Brilliant product, high setting is very bright and even low (far
brighter than I expected) is more than sufficient for most uses and probably the one I will use most. Everything about this torch says quality. The
pocket clip is sturdy, the lanyard that comes with it and the "carabiner" style clip, usually a token item is strong and not easily opened. The T25
is suitable for mounting on a weapon and it is sturdy enough that I would feel happy bashing it about rain or not. I wanted a tough, well made
torch that runs on regular, easily available batteries as I travel around Africa a lot and the Olight T25 is it. Holster is open top with no velcro
closing flap, that and the lanyard clip ring which rotates when fitted and therefore will wear the paint finish down is the only gripe. The strobe
works great and is indeed disorientating. The tailcap switch requires a good firm push to turn on so accidental activation is unlikely, the off "lock"
is simply to unscrew the tailcap 1/4 turn.I don't think you could do better than the T25. Very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it. I
don't think anyone would regret owning this. I am impressed enough that I am going to purchase the Olight M20 Warrior ASAP and keep the T25 as my
backup "survival" torch. Why buy 20 cheap nasty items when you can buy one good one that will outlast them all.
