This GPS navigator easily fits in your pocket or purse and is convenient for navigation by car or foot with it's rechargeable lithium-ion battery. See More The ultra-thin nuvi 1310 features a 4.3” (10.9 cm) widescreen display. View map detail, driving directions, photos and more in bright, brilliant colour. It's sunlight-readable, display is easy to read from any direction. Get Turn-by-Turn Directions The nuvi 1310's intuitive interface greets you with two simple questions, "Where To?" and "View Map." Touch the colour screen to easily look up addresses or services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination. The GPS navigator comes preloaded with Garmap Southern Africa Streetmaps - TMC and thousands of points of interest (POIs). Its Digital Elevation Model (DEM) maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. With the nuvi’s enhanced user interface, you can slide your finger to conveniently scroll between screens and with HotFix satellite prediction the nuvi calculates your position faster to get you there quicker. Go Beyond Navigation The nuvi GPS navigator can save you petrol and money with ecoRoute, a green feature that calculates the most fuel-efficient route, tracks petrol usage and more. The nuvi 1310 includes many travel tools such as JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter and calculator. With photo navigation, you can download pictures from Garmin Connect Photos and let nuvi guide you straight to the scene without needing the destination address. Also featured is the popular "Where Am I?" emergency locator, which allows you to know your location by simply tapping the vehicle icon on the screen, to get your exact longitude and latitude coordinates, the nearest address & intersection and the closest hospitals, police and petrol stations. The nuvi 1310 features Garmin Lock, an anti-theft feature and is compatible with our free Garmin Garage where you can download custom voices and vehicles. Also included to enhance your travel experience is an optional plug-in microSD card slot which can be used for additional data such as photographs. Make Hands-free Calls Talk about worry-free driving, the nuvi 1310 integrates Bluetooth wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker. Just pair it with your compatible Bluetooth phone to talk hands-free through the GPS navigator and give the road your full attention.
